How to Start a New Age Church

Starting a New Age church is like starting any other kind of church because it takes pretty much the same steps regardless of whether or not it is a New Age church.
Every state has their own laws regarding starting up a home church or ministry so it is important to make a few calls before you start out. Most of the legal matters come in to play if you are planning on becoming a non-profit organization or not. In other words, are you going to be accepting donations and allowing your donors a tax deduction. Applying for a tax-free status is where your state might want you to be incorporated and other points of qualification. Do not be alarmed though, because starting a small church or ministry is not as hard as you might think if you are willing to forego the non-profit rating for now.
The steps you need to take from here on out are pretty simple and only require a few things for you to do before you can call yourself a 'church'. You need to be ordained by an existing church so that you are an actual minister or pastor who is able to carry out the duties of the head of the congregation. The bad news is that if you are planning on being ordained by a traditional religion you will probably be required to attend a school of instruction and be baptized into their faith. The good news is that there are legal churches online that will ordain you for free.
Just get on the Internet and search 'ordained for free' and you will be a minister in no time. Once you are ordained you simply ask the organization for a congregational charter form and then you become a charter church of the headquarters but you can follow your own beliefs and doctrines. To start your ministry you will need a Treasurer and a Secretary to join you the Pastor to form Board of Directors. Keep monthly meetings with the minutes of your meeting then send those minutes to the church headquarters that you are chartered with. There is usually a small record keeping fee. Now you can choose any of the many New Age beliefs and practices out there and start filling your church with members.
